Computer Lab

The Malleshwaram Shishu Vihar has a well equipped computer lab with state of the art desktops. We have a proficient computer teacher. Though our students do not have computer exams as per their curriculum, we invite and encourage all our children across classes to use the computer lab.

Over the period of a week, they are allotted sessions and under the gentle supervision of their computer teacher, they are allowed to handle the system and learn for themselves, based on a broad syllabus drawn out as per their age, through out the year.

When children graduate from our school, they are not challenged for their ability to handle computer systems, which have become an essential part of our work culture at any level of skill contribution.

The younger children learn about parts of the computer, use keyboard and mouse, typing skills, various input and output devices, and overall benefits of learning computer skills.

Slightly older children learn how to open a file/document/ folder, saving documents, backup, RAM, ROM, storage devices, painting and drawing using a mouse. They learn about the range of computers available and the scope of each type of computer.

In the high school, students learn how to make PowerPoint presentation slides, Excel, Windows, Word, algorithm development, HTML and rudimentaries of programming.
