Independence Day at MSV – 2026
India’s Independence Day was celebrated in school on the 15th of August.
The National flag was hoisted and the students saluted the flag and sang the National anthem, Vande Mataram. ‘Nada Gethe’ and the school prayer.
The event was presided over by the MSV president Dr. Krishan Prasad and attended by some of the committee members along with the staff and students.
The students did a march past and drill which was spectacular in display. They were well-guided by our PT teacher Aparna under the advice of our HM Bharati Sangeeta.
Thereafter, students spoke in English Hindi and Kannada about how we achieved Independence and sang patriotic group songs.
This was followed by an address by the President who spoke about the value of Independence and the importance of putting aside our differences to value our democratic nation.
