The Malleshwaram Shishu Vihar celebrated its 71st annual day on 22nd November 2024 at Seva Sadana auditorium at Malleshwaram. The school has a practice of celebrating its annual day on 22nd November every year, which happens to be the birthday of our school founder Smt. B K Thirumalamma.
This year, Dr N Ramprakash, Design Consultant and donor to the school funds, was the chief guest. The celebration was presided over by our school president, Dr. Krishan Prasad. The day’s event started with invocation and speech by the president and chief guest. The annual report highlighting the events and incidents of the previous year was read through. The winners of the previous year’s academic session were appreciated and rewarded.
There were group songs, dances, and plays in English Hindi and Kannada by students across classes from LKG to 10th std. Almost all the children were given the opportunity to participate regardless of their level of innate talent. Not only did the children enjoy the event, but they also grew in confidence as a result of the event for which they had put their heart and soul during the practice sessions.
All students participated with sincerity and joy. The performances and the spirit of the children were praised by the guests.
In sum, the annual day event helped to enhance the image of Malleshwaram Shishu Vihar as a sincere school dedicated to the benefit of the local low-income community.
